MQM-P Postpones important party meeting due to lack of members


Karachi: A crucial Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM P) meeting has been postponed due to absence of party workers and leaders. According to details, a very important MQM P meeting, which was called earlier has been postponed. The meeting was called to discuss various important issues including recent Arshad Vohra exist, however several party leaders and workers did not reach for meeting at MQM-P temporary office in Bahadurabad, therefore meeting was postponed. Sources further told that after the postponement of today huddle, tomorrow City District Government meeting has become very important for MQM-P because opposition has already indicated to attend the meeting with full force. One week ago, opposition parties had announced to commence movement against Mayor Waseem Akhtar. This is new wave of twists and trouble for Farooq Sattar MQM, whose deputy Arshad Vohra announced on Sunday to quit the MQM-P and joined the PSP, which was formed last year by former MQM members Mustafa Kamal and Anis Kaimkhani. Speaking to the media at the Pakistan House, the headquarters of the Mustafa Kamal-led party, Arshad Vohra said he has decided to resign from his position as he was unable to serve the people of Karachi. He said that he decided to leave the party “because MQM-P had no vision.”
